Tell us a little about yourself. How did you get into hunting?

My name is Stephen West and I’m a hunting guide based in Southwest Texas and Sonora, Mexico. I was raised in this country and shaped by it. Hunting was never a hobby for me. It was something I had to be doing.

What made you decide to pursue a career in the outdoors? Why is it essential to who you are?

I knew early on that I wanted to live this life every day, not just visit it. Out here, everything is earned. Every mile, every climb, every ram on your back. When you reach the top of a mountain and pack one down at sunset, you realize you are exactly where you are meant to be. The outdoors is not just my job.

What is it about Pecos that makes you excited to work with our product?

Out here, gear cannot fail. The country is too rough and the work is too hard. Pecos builds equipment without compromise, and that matters when you are miles from camp in sharp rock and cactus country.

Which product do you like the most and how does it help you with your job?

The table is hard to beat. In terrain where everything is uneven, jagged, and steep, having a flat, durable surface is a game changer. Whether we are breaking down an animal or working around camp, it stands solid and does its job every time.
